Manor by the Lake

Photography at a Manor by the Lake Wedding…

This is one of the weddings this year that I was super looking forward to. April & Ting live in Hong Kong and I met them over Skype last year. Such a lovely vibe from them both and obviously very excited with each other and life in general! Oddest thing was, and I’m still not sure I totally get it, whilst we were chatting away about their plans and how fab the Manor is (will always have a massive soft spot for this place), I asked how they got engaged. I love hearing these stories and gives a lot of insight into the couple… But they weren’t engaged!? …!? what?  haha, brilliant!

Ting’s speech particularly stuck with me. Ting lived in London as was going to Hong Kong for a short time, just for work and then would come home. But he looked and April and said ‘You changed everything’…lump in my throat moment. love those.

Their wedding was just beautiful. The styling, flowers, the little touches, they were all so gorgeous and delicate. I was also stoked that they kept a slight bit of Chinese tradition and had a tea ceremony.

There’s so much I would love to write about this wedding and I’ll come back to it but I’m literally running out to a week workshop and really want you to see this before I go!

Thank you so much for taking time to look at my work. This one is a little image heavy but I loved so much of it, I found it hard to edit down further!

Also a massive big up to Mrs Mashup Wedding videography, she’s a dream to work with and if anyone is looking for a videographer, give Aymie a shout!

If you are getting married at Manor by The Lake, I would love to hear about it. Massive thank you to April and Ting for having me with you on your special day x

You were so amazing throughout the whole day and might be the only person who can capture a normal photo of Ting! ? Thanks so much for all your little bits of advice, not only for our wedding but also for things like good restaurants in cheltenham! So glad to have you with us for one of the happiest days in our lives.
